@dianelyndon L'aquila and Cerchio look beautiful. My great regret is not spending more time exploring the Italian countryside while visiting. I had a 3 week trip to Europe, one week in San Remo, Italy, one week in Rome, then one week in Monte Carlo. San Remo was by far my favorite destination of the 3 and your pictures make me want to go back and explore more.
You still have family out there? Or was it your host's family you referred to?
It was my hosts family and I long to return. I have a standing invitation to her beautiful villa. Even more so now I long to return since the most recent earthquake. My heart cries for the villages affected.
