Manchester, England has become an interesting city to visit...with old churches and buildings throughout the city. There are gorgeous parks to visit, and they have a crafts center where local artisans display their hand crafted items in adjacent galleries. The art galleries are worth a trip to, and they have several historical museums to view. There are many different types of restaurants you can eat at...from traditional English dishes to Korean food, or you can visit a sweet shop. There are beautiful pubs there with friendly servers, and it always gets lively in the evenings. There are a variety of street musicians you can listen to near the city mall, and train service to and from the city is excellent! Here are a few places/things I saw on a hike when I was last there:
