Water Wisps

Water Whisps -1.jpg

Slowing your cameras shutter down can create some very interesting effects. When shooting moving water capturing the rush and flow can really conjure a mood, portraying its power and impact. Slowing down that flow you conjure a different mood, its almost etherial.

The old game player in me is always reminded of a Willow-o-wisp when I see the slowed down water dancing in the pools.

Its such a cool thing to watch and capture with my camera.

Thanks for reading.

A very nice pic.

Guess would have liked it more with some color. You always use ND filters for photos like this?

A very beautiful photo. I love the shadow of the trees on the water. Nice work, keep it up :)

I should use the stand and long exposure more often. Thanks for the reminder what it can do.
