Long Exposure Photography ~ Ceiba speciosa, or Silk Floss Tree
I was taking pictures of bees (see my #monomad post today) and loved the way the flowers on this Ceiba speciosa tree shook in the wind, even if that movement made it hard to focus the shot. I tried to capture that feeling here with a longer exposure. Perhaps I should take a picture of an entire tree to show you, because these trees have thorns on the trunk. As you can see, the flowers are quite beautiful. The bees sure like them!
