What happened that night at the London Steemit Social

This last Friday night, a few of us from the London Steemit community got together for a night of Steem, Crypto and catching up!

We first met up at Cafe 1001 in Brick Lane, there was me, @teodora, @rod.crisafulli, @ingaaa and @adetorrent. With @colossus39 and @ultravioletmag joining later.

It got a bit too loud when the DJ came on at Cafe 1001 and with no hot food at the place, we decided to go to Boxpark in Shoreditch to check out this vegan joint @ingaaa was craving.

Not sure why @adetorrent was crying here. Think it was about getting flagged or something :P

@adetorrent and @teodora unfortunately had to leave by 8ish, because coincidentally they both had 6am flights to catch, to different places ;)

And after 40 mins of circling for parking, @ultravioletmag finally arrives, but misses @adetorrent and @teodora.

We chill in Boxpark for a bit until @ingaaa leaves and we look for a quieter place to chill and chat. We were going to try out one of @colossus39's local graffer hangouts, but it was packed and a bit loud. So we decided to go to a peculiar looking place across the street. It looked a bit upmarket from the outside, but ended up being just what we needed, for reasonably priced drinks and no screaming needed conversations.

This is where the night continued with almost 3 hrs of interesting conversations. It was the first time @colossus39 and @ultravioletmag had ever had the chance to have a proper conversation. And knowing them both to be humans with interesting and open minds, I knew some fun conversations were bound to happen ;)

To put it briefly, their conversation crossed topics like intuition, systemic racism, the black culture, and the "N" word. I have to say that these were topics I was glad to gain more insight on. It was great to be able to watch them debate and discuss these types of topics, and sometimes opposing views, without wanting to strangle each other :P

We get ready to leave the place when it closed at 12.30am, and I loved the stairs to the toilet, so snapped a few shots of @ultravioletmag

Where the conversations continued... because we do love to talk ;)

All in all, another awesome night, catching up with these lovely humans and having insightful conversations. A standard Steemit meetup for the London Steemit community ;)
