Return of the King!!! Unbench the Kench!!!

Hi, I am a Tahm Kench Main with 1.4 M mastery.

I am a top lane main but currently, my man isn't in a good spot. His kit is actually still really strong despite the nerfs but the most problematic is his playstyle on top lane. Tahm Kench is a champion who like to snowball with kills. His playstyle is super aggressive and preys on opponent's mistakes. The issue is as you go on the top of the ladder, your opponents are more likely to not have these mistakes. In addition to that, you cannot control on how your teammates will play.

If you team is good, even if you're not snowballing, you can build a pure tank and just be that beefy boi in front of everyone zoning the opponent carries. If you're behind, as long as your team is doing good, pop that redemption with solari and be that support that gobbles your team if they went over aggressive.

What I like about this champ is that he's super flexible and does not have any hard counters. The issue is that he needs to be fed with kills to be relevant mid to late game.

HOWEVER

All of that will come to end. Riot recently mentioned, a few months back, about Tahm Kench rework. Same as other reworked champs like Vollibear, for sure he'll be one busted catfish that would roam the Rift once again. I am really excited for these changes that I will talk about in my next post. I hope the stats is still good and they won't touch his E (Thick Skin) which is the bread and butter of the champ.
