Hello this is lady the Canadian, Er the Canadian lady, I hope you find my blog very informative. How many people have heard of this Tide pods challenge. Well in the past there was space monkey where kids as young as twelve would choke each other to see who would pass out first, the idea is you achieve a sort of high when you woke up if u did not die of strangulation Or The cinnamon challenge where you take a spoonful of cinnamon and swallow it plain, it would burn your throat, and it was so dry you might choke and there was snorting Smarties which is exactly how it sounds and it's dangerous it can basically cause holes in your nose and lead to your nose being festered with magots. Well anyway now teens have taken to eating laundry detergent in the form of little marshmallowy pillows called Tide pods who started the Tide pods challenge? In 2012 when Tide pods hit stores people were joking online about how they look like candy. The Fake news article The onion published a satrical news article in 2015 about a kid vowing to someday eat a multicoloured detergent Pod. This had become main stream in 2017. The first YouTuber to popularize this was theAaronswann669, Fast forward to 2018 Logan Paul tweets about Tide pods just after the suicide forest incident on youtube. He was asking his fans to retweet his tide pod comment saying for every retweet he will eat one. And as he has come back to youtube to post his usual obnoxious blogs he literally said Tide pods are tasty! There are so many young kids watching his content it bugs me to think my 12 yr old cousin follows the Paul brothers on YouTube. In fact Ingesting tide pods will cause nausea, vomiting, coughing, chocking, failure of organs and heart collapse. Burns and rashes skin and eye irritation from popping the pod in your mouth.
