Turns out the Scottish government has a special Nessie Contingency Plan to be implemented in the event the monster is found! This will surely lead conspiracy theorists to conclude the government has been in communication with the monster all along.

They’re just waiting for the right time to make Nessie public, for maximum impact in promoting Scottish independence. Meanwhile, the monster is hoping for just one chance to tell the English “they can take away our lives, but they can never take away our freedom!” Not with Nessie defending it!
