I recall a priest i knew, he stopped at the gas station; then drove home. he unlocked his door and walked to the kitchen and put his keys down.

As he heard a knock on the front door he was surprised by the two police officers standing there. He asked what the problem was, they started smiling . . .

As he got more confused they burst out laughing, he said what is this all about. He knew it was real because of the police car at the sidewalk. AS he got more wierded out by it all they asked what he had just done earlier.

As he recounted his morning he realized he had failed to pay at the petrol station. The operator had run his plates and the police were about 2 minutes behind him to arrest him until they realised it was a simple case of forgetting . . .
