I think it's not about the wait itself. It's about who you expect. This may sound paradoxical but there is nothing more pragmatic than having faith in the Lord, in God our Father, in his promise: the Bible is full of stories that if we review well, we realize that there is no one who has trusted in God , that He has disappointed Him; that he has waited in Him, that He has abandoned him; and that he has called him, and he has become deaf. God is a loving God in his actions towards us, and faithful to his promises.
