Old Beijing’s emblemous courtyard houses tend to give people traditional and even old-fashioned impressions. It seems that they do not seem to be able to get along with the new trend. Therefore, when this brand new hutong hotel’s layering courtyard comes into view, one can't help but be surprised. Fan, combined with a trendy new-style hutong hotel, seems to be the first time you have ever imagined walking in a traditional neighborhood, surrounded by old courtyards or stereotyped residential buildings. You suddenly see a retro style that mixes modernist textures. The old courtyard building really taught people to shine.

The hotel was built by Arch Studio , a local architecture firm in Beijing . The overall appearance of glass and wood atmosphere is simple. Exposed and rough wooden beams and pillars are placed between the arched windows and doors. The Zhu wood doors contain a clear vein of Chinese architectural culture. However, progressive yards increase private density from the outside to the inside. The most significant features of the Beijing Hutong are all here.

In the noisy alley neighborhood, such a closed courtyard house is reminiscent of the classical chapter of “The courtyard is deep and deep”, and the relationship between man and nature has been re-examined.

Even in the indoor space, you can personally feel the joy of bringing bamboo and sunlight together. The use of large-area glass and semi-transparent materials softens the bluntness of the external brick walls. The light flowing in the interior and the bamboo plantation between the yards are also green. Naturally into the traveler's field of vision, the spaces are separated and overlapped with each other, and the translucent space effect is matched with the scene of the real colorful hutong lifeline outlined by the bamboo forest, creating a light and floating hidden atmosphere. It is worth noting that the emotion is not worth it. A distant poetic scene!

When you go to Beijing on your next trip, remember to feel it.
