28/07/2017 Livebetting Insight Royal Antwerp vs RSC Anderlecht
No pre-game bet on this match, but I plan to get involved live so I'm posting some livebetting insights.
Royal Antwerp are the newly promoted team and are still building as there were many position switches. Coach Boloni mentioned that focus will be on defense the first couple matches as he believes that is their best option for now to take points. Traditionally newly promoted teams tend to do very good in their first home match and Antwerp had long anticipation to return to the 1st division and have a strong fanbase. Anderlecht seem to be ready with their homework and should have an overall better team compared to last season. They tend to be better in 2nd half or when they are in a come from behind position. I expect this match to start with lots of intensity from the home side while Anderlecht tend to be patient. I will be looking to bet Anderlecht at better odds depending on how they play when they somehow get behind | Early when they clearly are the superior team | at Halt Time if they are not yet in the lead and line/odds are reasonable.
Live Update HT: Solid performance from Antwerp 1st half who played with a good block in defense. I'm going to respect the 1st match from promoted team at home record and wait it out for now. if HT odds were -0.25 @ 1.80 I would have been tempted to take a minimum bet. 1.78 is just too low given situation right now despite good 2H record from Anderlecht.

Given the excellent 1st half of the home team they deserved a point despite never being in contention for the win in 2nd half. Plenty of chances for Anderlecht during the 2nd half. Money was in at the right time and loss was kept to a minimum so can't complain. Antwerp should be a team that does well at home this season as they play with a lot of passion.

Live Update 64': Anderlecht clearly the better team during 2nd half as Antwerp wasted a lot of energy. Took minimum bet (100€) on Anderlecht -0.25 @ 2.0. (I only count full stake bets in record)
