No gas, no problem.
When you live on an island it can happen that there is no gas. We totally depend on ships that bring in food and gas for cooking. You can go to the gas company and order a "gas bomb" but it can take weeks before you can get one.
Then you see certain people panic.......Millennials.
They don't know what to do, well you can imagine that most of them don't even know where milk comes from they can't think of a solution to fix the gas problem.
I made this outside kitchen.
Oh but I could cook with electricity right? Yes, but I think, if there is a lack of anything, I have to come up with a solution and not just get the easy way out. Imagine there is no electricity either?
I made my outside kitchen with concrete on a working table the builders used while building my house and left behind.
I have plenty of wood in my garden and when there is no gas there is plenty of charcole in the store because all tourists want to BBQ.
So if there is no gas, there is no problem at my house. I just make a fire.

Have you seen the Home Biogas that’s on been in Kickstarter. They have a new Home Biogas 2.0 and you’d never have to buy gas again.
Yes I actually did see that. I have a septic tank I am checking out possibilities with a same system and collect biogas from that.
Good work, being self sufficient is much more rewarding anyway. That is a Great outdoor kitchen you have 🌴☀️🦋💛🌈
Thanks and I really enjoy using it. I have a lot of wood from the garden so I can alway have a small fire with hot water for coffee.
