Five ways to stay happy and positive throughout your life

We all know its hard, stressful and physically tiring to maintain a cheerful façade everyday, every minute of it. But sometimes, that is what comes to your rescue. Staying happy, I mean.
A lot goes into the day, like, energy, effort, time, money and what not. God knows, you need that daily dose of positivity while your system reboots itself at night while sleeping.
So, here I am, and I have coined five simple ways of staying positive and happy throughout the day. (these are ways I use to stay happy, ypu are free to add stuff in this list in the comment section!)

  1. Wake up and smile
    It sounds ridiculous, but if you do it, there is a fat lot of chance that you'll spend your day smiling at everybody else and getting your work done in an easier way. Believe in every smile being a million dollar one, and you are good to go!

  2. Drink a glass of water
    This too, works a lot better, when you drink up before brushing your teeth. Water is a natural lubricant, and drinking it first thing in the morning gives you a clear throat, a healthy stomach, ready to digest food, and also gives you a sense of weird satisfaction. I dunno how, but it does!

  3. Take a bath quick!
    Showering is a task we all delay till either the last moment, or till the next day. But showering right after you get out of bed will hydrate your body from the outside, and leave you feeling and smelling fresh. Getting oneself clean has proven to increase motivation levels. Now you know!

  4. Have a healthy breakfast
    I know, I am probably the millionth person to blog about this, but it surely is the most important meal of the day. If you skip breakfast, and you have a laid back routine, you end up stress eating more, and feeling bloated. A healthy breakfast on the other hand, gives you energy, not to mention the wake up call it gives to your brain, urging it to perform better, and productivity soars!

  5. Talk about at least one positive thing first thing in the morning with a family member
    A very nee experiment, which I have been trying for a week now with my mom, is this. I talk about atleast one good thing in the morning over tea with her, so she leaves for work happily, and I start studying in a good mood. It is known to keep your heart on a balanced level emotionally, and gives your mind the power to think calmly in situations of duress.

So, this is a small list of the things I do to stay happy and positive and it works. It is working like a charm, and I hope to have done somethinv good by sharing the same with the world!
