Sea Dog

Hello my dear Steemians. Sometimes many of us go through certain difficult circumstances in the course of our lives, in my case such as the extreme conditions that Venezuelans are currently experiencing, which we have undoubtedly had to manage to survive this fierce economy, where without a doubt we have to apply that theory of Charles Darwin to improve our adaptation characteristics and thus have a better chance of survival.

On one of my most recent trips to the beautiful Island of Cubagua - Venezuela, I could observe the most vivid example of this theory of natural selection, with a cute and affectionate dog abandoned on this lonely island, an animal that has undoubtedly had to adapt to such critical conditions full of lots of sun and absence of fresh water and food, so that in the middle of the day she refreshes by bathing in the sea and drinking salt water, sometimes taking advantage of the love and the few ammunition that some tourists offer her.

That is why my inspiration today I want to dedicate to this brave “Sea Dog”, who with much instinct has been able to stay alive with what little she has had and thanking with much love who gives her a hand, and maintaining that hope of Improvement by always moving that cheerful tail, showing us without doubt that the strongest always survives, an analogy that must fill us with motivation to face any difficulty that may arise in life. Says so:

Sea Dog

With the serene salty of that colorful dawn
Brown eyes that glow in the moonlight
Happy tail that receives everyone in the cove
With that joy that makes you feel like no other.

I know it's not easy to live on a lonely and homeless island
Without love, food, or water to drink
And although the cold cornered you at dawn
Giving love will always be your duty.

Radiant sun burning that bright brown hair
Hot sand that already resists the skin of its legs
You only have to drink sea water and that refreshing bath
With fish from the shore, which often fill your stomach.

Crystal clear sea of that light blue color
Naughty crabs that always keep you company
Cheerful birds waking up with that early singing
Singing the different melodies with the sound of the waves.

Suitable for natural selection she must become strong
To resist evolving in this hot and desert climate
And thus face the difficulties of its desolate environment
It's just a matter of always believing the brave.
