The Sun and The Wind

 

 

Who do you think is stronger, the sun or the wind? It's been said that these two are usually on a fight only to prove who is powerful of them both.

 

One day, the wind said, "Do you really wanted me to prove that I'm stronger than you?"

 

The sun smiled and said, "Okay, so you will stop boasting yourself, show me. There, a man is walking along the road. Whoever can take out his clothes, will be the strongest."

 

"I agree. This time, we will truly find out who is the strongest," wind strongly answered. "I'll go first," he added because he never wanted to be in second place in every fight.

 

The wind started to blew air to the walking man. At the start, the man seems to enjoy the air which only resulted him to be relaxed and walked even more faster.

 

The wind blew more air, instead of enjoying the wind, the man close his clothes and locked all the buttons up to his neck. He drained all his strength to blow air to the man, but the man hold firmly on his clothes because he started to felt cold.

 

The wind had weakened because he never stopped blowing the wind towards the man but he could not just take off his clothes. "Sun, it's now your turn," shouted the wind. Let us see how good you are. Probably, you will not be able to take off that man's clothes.

 

Sun started to show his beam and started giving heat towards the walking man. The man's sweat started to drip. Sun added more heat and the man started to open few button on his clothes.

 

A few more minutes and the man started felt so much heat, he started opening all the button of his clothes and finally had taken it off.

 

The sun had won the competition and the wind never boasted again.

 

 

Lesson:

It's not good to be boastful because you don't know exactly what others are capable of.
