Boyet's family was only a poor. His father Mr. Delfin is only a farmer but they don't have their own land. He just rent the land which he planted rice. While his mother Mrs. Pacing was a simple housewife. Boyet was already 10 years old. They are 4 siblings, and he is the oldest. In the coming school year in elementary level Boyet will be in grade 4.

In its summer vacation Boyet took advantage of the opportunity. He made a Piggy bank out of bamboo tree. It's a season of fruits in their yards. Because of their spacious yard they have lots of fruit bearing trees which his father planted. They have planted lots of duhat, santol, mangoes, star apple and jackfruit. They picked these together with his mother and they sold it to the market. Their fruit bearing trees produced plenty of fruits. Because his father had taken good care of them.

The fruits that they sold is very saleable. After they sold it out fast, his mother will give him money.

"Thank you mother. Again I have another money to put in my piggy bank," Boyet happily said.

" Don't worry, son, maybe before our trees run out of fruits your piggy bank will already full," his mother said.

Boyet's piggy bank indeed was filled with money because he is so industrious in saving.

When the onset of school is coming near, there was a strong storm in their village. All of his father's crop was damaged. And they only harvested a few. His father was in debt. While his mother is worried. The school days is near and their expected sources for money is gone.

"Maybe you can't go to school this year son," sadly his mother said. "Our crops was destroyed by the storm and we have debt to pay."

"I will be able to study, mother. My piggy bank was already full. This I will used for my study," Boyet said smiling.

Boyet did studied that year. Thanks for his being industrious and wise to save.

Lesson to learn:

It is really important for us to save some for in times of trouble and nothing to be used we can run from what we save. For we can't tell time. Sometimes we have and suddenly we don't. It's better to save if we can, in times of need or emergencies arrived we have something to took from. It's really important to be always ready, why not save if you can.

Reality check:

Many though attempted to save and wanted to keep even a little money for tomorrow's come. But sad to say many may likes to save but oftentimes what we have is not enough. Do we tried to spend and be thrifty but still can't save for the money we gained is not much for the prices of things we need is so high. How we loved to save some for we all know we need it in times.

But sorry to say many can't and don't even able to buy food for the rest of the day to survive. Reality is, this time is tough, lucky to those who have the capacity and earn lots of money more than they need. And pity to those who can't even eat and don't have food for the rest of day. Reality is, those who are rich gets richer more, while those who are in the bottom or poor gets more poorer. It's life now.

Your post is the first post I read. It's a sad story and sadly to say that you are right. Rich become more rich and poor always be down. Because of that I left my rich no worried life in Germany and moved to the poor but more happy Philippines. I made in Germany a test with 200 people. I asked them if they would donate only 5 dollar to use it to open a business in the Philippines to earn money with this business and help some people and there family to have a small gold income. Only one of them donate, or invest. You can ask 1000 rich people if they would help you with 5 Dollar any maybe any 1% of them would do that. But I am smarter than them. Anytime they will by my bamboo products in Germany, and this money will be used to open more business and give more people a job. The other half of the money will be used to open a kidsplaygroud/kindergarten it's something like a place for homeless kids.
Maybe you like to share my YouTube video or my facebook BamWorks page. It's always good for business to have some followers and someone who share it. At my facebook you can find my posts about my Bamboo stuff.
