Litecoin time to rise and shine
The second oldest cryptocurrency Litecoin appears to be ready to start its own bullrun after having been left behind in the last few days. Here are a few facts that make this coin interesting right now :
Price = 28$
Circulating supply is aproximately 51 million so basically for every btc in existence right now there are 3 litecoins, this alone is a good reason to think that litecoin is extremely undervalued. Another thing to remember is that in the december 2013 bubble when bitcoin reached 1200$ litecoin also saw its record price peak at 50$.
Trading Volume 164,000,000$
Nearly the same amount of trading volume as ripple the bankcoin designed to allow the banks to screw us over be it either by allowing us to buy in and get screwed in the pump and dump process or by loosing our financial freedom by bowing down to private centralized blockchains run by banks. Don't forget ripple has 10 times the marketcap that litecoin has currently.
Segwit activation
Segwit was recently activated on the litecoin blockchain which will very likely add a huge boost to its value and usefullness. This is also considered a testnet for the future bitcoin segwit activation allowing for a bigger blocksize and maleability issues combined.

Litecoin is a cryptocurrency, which was created in 2011 as a lightweight alternative to Bitcoin; the two key differences between them are: - Litecoin's smaller time intervals between adding new blocks to its Blockchain, which is supposed to decrease transaction times; - Litecoin's mining is governed by the Scrypt algorithm, as opposed to Bitcoin's SHA 256. The purpose of this is to restrict ASIC miners and allow users to efficiently mine Litecoin on regular PC's; it was working as intended for some time until Scrypt ASICs were developed. Since its creation, Litecoin has been very popular, with an almost constant presence in the top 5 of cryptocurrencies by market capitalization (albeit never beating Bitcoin in that regard). source

I've been in Litecoin since 2014. Been mining and cloud-mining, holding and using. The longterm prospects for Litecoin are good, IMO

I bought just less than $20 worth a few weeks back, Litecoin seems to have missed out on the recent altcoin rallies (it did have its own before though)
Going to hold, who knows maybe what I have will end up being worth 1000's one day?
