Litecoin going to hit $70?
With Bitcoin looking at a soft or hard fork in the next few weeks I can see Litecoin shooting towards $70. It is already moving up the market but at the same time there are other things going on in the background beyond the Bitcoin forking.
There is also the fact that Charlie lee the creator of Litecoin has returned full-time and left his role at Coinbase. So that he can concentrate on the development of Litecoin.
Add to that the interest from Ben Davenport (Chief Technical Officer) at Kraken who is also taking a major interest and looking to support Litecoin these factors are showing some promising signs of growth for Litecoin.
Beyond that it has close links to Bitcoin being on the same Segregated Witness along with Litecoin currently being faster and cheaper I can see it being a good investment short and long-term.
yes ...the destiny of litecoin depends on what will happen with the bitcoin after the 1st of August ...actually all the Altcoins are waiting to see what will happen with the bitcoin after the 1st of August
bitcoin is the King of all the cryptocurrencies - all the Altcoins are cashing to fiat money and hedging thru bitcoin and so their strategy heavily depends on the bitcoin
Agree its causing ripples in the market where I am sure there has been a few panicks over the last couple of weeks as well causing more movement. Although Litecoin seems to be holding itself in better stead.
yes it is ..also don't forget that litecoin is very popular in China ...even more popular then the bitcoin

any way ..few weeks ago 100 litecoins were 1 bitcoin now only 50
Litecoin can have a lot of success ... I bought at 29$ ... but I think it will have to suffer under the Bitcoin Blocksize increase. But in long term I m sure it ll climb over 70$
Agree i think give it 3 months will start to climb once the market stabilises again.
