HOW TO GET YOUR LITECOIN CASH FOR FREE IF YOU OWNED LITECOIN. FREE MONEY IS FREE MONEY

in #litecoin7 years ago (edited)

Litecoin Cash, was born February 18, 2018 after a fork from Litecoin. Litecoin Cash has nothing to do with Litecoin. The LCC team have stated that they are simply claiming that they want just want to use the existing codebase but changing out Litecoins underlying mining algorithm to the one used to mine bitcoin. When this litecoin occured LCC was selling for about $1.34 a coin with a 36,311 market cap, since then it has risen to about $5.00 a coin and a $1 million cap.

If you owned Litecoin prior to the fork you will be awarded 10 LCC per 1 LTC. To retrieve your LCC you must follow these steps:

  • Create a New Litecoin Wallet with a new Seed or a wallet.dat file

  • Transfer any or all LTC from your old wallet to your new wallet and wait for the time of the fork to happen

  • Use your old Wallets private seed to claim your new coins then move it to your LCC wallet.

  • IMPORTANT: After that, do not use the old wallet and consider it compromised.

Are there any specific wallets for LCC yet?

LCC actually hasn't released a wallet yet. For now your LCC should just be sitting on the blockchain until LCC has a wallet which you can transfer to.

Can i move my Litecoin now form Coinbase and claim them? or is it late? I have Litecoins before the hardfork

Unfortunately you may have missed out on your opportunity by not haveing it in a wallet. Until CB decides to support LCC you won't be able to retrieve LCC.

BUT if CB decides to start supporting it in the future, you should be able to retrieve it. 10:1
