RE: What Xinxi of Litecoin Thinks of STEEM and my Interview with Him!

in #litecoin5 years ago (edited)

Only 4 people in control of the majority 50% of hashing power on LTC and they say Steem isn't decentralized because you could post a naked picture of somebody LOL.... They are saying Steem isn't decentralized because of things that could happen, not something currently occuring... Soon nobody will even post naked pics to steem and it will all be going to Vice Token... Individual sites are not decentralized but the chain certainly is because it's immutable and you will always be able to find an interface to post from. If Steemit.com shut down permanently due to "legal issues" as they put it, most likely an even better, more decentralized one would pop up like wack-a-mole.

Yeah Hashrate distribution is a problem... P
ools don't = The network but it indeed is a problem that Pools are centrally managed. Technically the network could only need 1 pool and be decentralized if the pool itself was trustless which is the main issue.

Maybe Litecoin can lead the charge and Makker Betterhash adopted like it did for Segwit lel.
After Betterhash is adopted, more decentralized ones can be made...
