[Litecoin Wallet] What is your favorite LTC Wallet? POWERING UP ===>>>steemCreated with Sketch.

in #litcoin7 years ago (edited)

Trading Litecoin (LTC) requires a [SAFE] [SECURE] [TRUST WORTHY] Wallet to transfer and store.

My favorite LTC Wallet is Loafwallet which is ONLY available on Apple iOS devices ATM.

Android version is not ready to be rolled out to the General Public ATM.

Here are some more links and information on Loafwallet:

Loafwallet is the first standalone Litecoin wallet built for iOS and best of all it is available to download for free on the Apple App Store!

I'm a fan of Exodus, - Currently you can securely store 9 different coins in there and easily exchange between them

I have heard good things about https://www.exodus.io/

Thanks for stopping by @tfx96

How long have you been using Exodus?

I use Exodus and the Litecoin-Qt wallet for Windows.

Nice!

Those sound like PC/Laptop/Notebook LTC Wallets?

Have you used them on any mobile devices?

Exodus does not have a mobile wallet. There is a Litecoin core Android wallet, I think, but I've never used it. But I do have a Jaxx Android wallet which works very well, but I am not using it for Litecoin at the moment.

Some of my LTC is at Coinbase, too.

Thank you for sharing your GOOD experiences so others can HOPEFULLY learn and grow instead of having a bad experience and end up losing or quitting ALL together.

  1. My "thirds rule strategy" is to have your LTC spread out into 1/3rds 33% .333
  2. So in your case Exodos Desktop Client 33%, Mobile Jaxx Android Wallet 33%, and Coinbase both Desktop Client and Mobile Android Wallet 33%.
  3. That way if any ONE of the THREE gets lost/forgotten/hacked/stolen you still have 2/3rds left.

I learned ages ago not to keep all my eggs in one basket. So I have two bank accounts in the USA, and two in China, where I work. I follow the same practice with cryptos, just to ensure I have easy access to them. Since the blockchain is the actual "storage site" for our holdings, the main idea is to preserve our access to those funds, namely our private keys, passwords and passphrases.

I was wondering how many "Litecoin Accepted" signs have you seen in China?

None. But I live in the interior and not in the big coastal cities.

Ive been looking for a good litecoin wallet recently. Havent found one id call my favorite though

I hear you @kylek717

Please comment back if you find one or check back here to see what other litecoin wallets are any good.

Thanks for stopping by!

I'd use loafwallet if I didn't have a Samsung

I hear they are still beta testing loafwallet for Android ATM.

Should be available soon.
