The Lion 🦁

Ok guys,Im ready . Today we're going to be taking about the LION 🦁.
Lion: The majestic Lion is referred to as ‘the king of the jungle’.It lives on the wide savannah of the Serengeti.It is Africa's largest carnivore.Almost all wild lions live in Africa but a small population exists elsewhere.It has 7 centimeter long claws and razor-sharp teeth to tear through prey.A group of lions is called a pride.The lion spends up to 20 hours each day sleeping/resting.The males are actually called lions while females are called lionesses. Usually the females hunt while the males protect the pride.The male lion has a mane while females don't .A baby lion is called a cub.Lions are born spotty and like other cats,lions can swim.Lions prey on herbivores like gazelle, buffalo, zebra, giraffe and even rhinos!. The lion's loud roar reflects its immense strength and let's others know that it's truly the king of the plains.
