Fedora 28 on Asus T100TA
Yesterday I posted about my pet project to refurbish old PCs and install Linux on them. During the next few days I will talk about each of the PCs in turn.
Background
This is my own PC which I bought in 2014, about 5 years ago. It's an ASUS T100TA and came pre installed with Win 8. It was getting very slow after I upgraded it to Win10 as the hardware spec was too light-weighted for it.
Linux Version
Fedora 28
Restoration
When I tried to install Linux on it, the proprietary hardware specification make it difficult to get the correct drivers. I tried a special version of ubuntu with limited functionality and finally settled with the current Fedora 28.
