LAMP Server on CentOS7 on Oracle VM Virtualbox , SSH w/ Putty
Hello world, bless up. Today I will list instructions to setup a LAMP(Linux, Apache,Mariadb,PHP) server on CentOS 7 on a virtual machine using Oracle VM Virtualbox.

First up install Virtualbox, create new virtual machine, change type to linux, version to redhat 64bit, next,next,next,next, create. Right click on newly made virtual machine and select network in adapter 1, choose bridged adapter click advanced in promisicous mode select allow all. Now go to storage under contoller IDE click CD and select optical drive then find your CentOS iso download, click ok then run virtual machine.
Setup is straightforward however in network turn on ethernet, record ipv4 addess, subnetmask, default gateway, in settings go to DHCPV4 change automatic to manual then input recorded items put DNS as 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4. After install is done and you're on login screen we'll begin installing tools and switch over to Putty GUI.
Install and open putty then input server IPV4 address into putty and lets go.
At login screen enter necessary credentials then sudo su
yum update -y
yum install httpd mariadb mariadb-server php php-mysql
mysql_secure_installation
systemctl enable httpd
systemctl enable mariadb
firewall-cmd --zone=public --add-service=http
service httpd restart
Open a web browser then input ipv4 address if you see apache watchumacallit congrats your live and running. In the next post we will create database and add CMS such as drupal/wordpress to web server.
