Disable gnome-terminal menubar
Intro
In the past, we were able to disable the menubar in gnome-terminal through the profile settings, at some point this option was removed and at least i didn't find it anywhere,
as well not in the global settings. Not sure if this was a fault of mine or if it was really not available - however, if you gave it up like me somewhen, this blogpost is for you!
Sorry but i don't have english locales for the screenshots available right now.
Removal of the menubar
Today i figured, it indeed is in the global settings, so the useless menubar can finally be removed permanently, hooray! \o/
You can use the dropdown menu in the gnome-shell but also the context menu (this is why the bar is basicly useless) like in the following screenshot:
