Linux management server Dell R530 on Centos 7.4

If you need to install Dell's management and monitoring applications for the Dell PowerEdge R530 server model, the steps are as follows:

Download and Install Dell EMC System Update

  1. yum install libcmpiCppImpl0 openwsman-server openwsman-client sblim-sfcb pciutils
  2. wget -q -O - http://linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/dsu/bootstrap.cgi | bash
  3. yum install dell-system-update

after this test some utils apps:
dsu --version

dsu --inventory

dsu

With this aplications dsu ( Dell System Update ) you can update your bios firmware or raid controller.

To install OMSA using this repository, use the following commands: (Works on RHCE and Centos 7.x )

yum install srvadmin-all

Information about your virtual disk ( raid ):
[root@fileserver ~]# omreport storage vdisk
List of Virtual Disks in the System

Controller PERC H330 Mini (Embedded)
ID : 0
Status : Ok
Name : Data
State : Ready
