    I use the CLI as much as I can:

    1. GUIs tend to be nothing more than a wrapper around CLIs, so they usually have less features or options.
    2. It's pretty hard to use GUIs for scripting.
    3. My servers don't have a GUI. So by using the CLI I can reuse commands on all my machines.

      It has been a few years since i've used fedora, but I work from the command line almost exclusively. Once you get comfortable from the command line, everything gets done faster than with a mouse/gui.

          I prefer debian-based distros. Currently running ubunu mini. I used to run Fedora as a daily driver, so i am still fond of it.

            I've used most of them. I had a massive love affair with Arch Linux for about three years but came back into the Red Hat / Fedora fold a couple of years ago. Having said that, I run Ubuntu on my main box at home.
