→ Historic B&W Photos Restored in Color
These colorized monochrome photos will change the way you imagine the past. Since we live and remember in color, a black-and-white image seems almost of another world. Through the process of colorization, that world becomes more familiar, easier to imagine, and easier to connect to.
Some people hate coloring old monochrome photos. It reminds me of how film lovers once attacked Ted Turner when he tried to colorize old movies. I fall down in the middle: while I definitely prefer the original monochrome photos, I can appreciate and enjoy the colorized versions. Most of these are very well done and would fool many who didn't know otherwise.
