Lines 78-85: Earth fills her lap... whence he camesteemCreated with Sketch.

The poet means the earth abounds with different kinds of pleasures and comforts which she offer to the child. Earth has desires which are of the same kind as herself. She entertains almost the same feelings for the child as areal mother dose. Inspired by very noble motive the earth tries her best to make her adopted child as her real child. The earth tries to make the child forget his spiritual heritage as well as the spiritual splendour which is the child has previously experienced in heaven, which is the real home or parent of the child, and from where he comes into this world. The earth tries to offer earthly or worldly pleasures to him, so that he may forget his real home (heaven)
