The Night Sky Above Me, The Cool Grass Below - Stream of Consciousness
- I sit with my favorite dog,
the fifth generation of shepards,
dogs and man,
on the knoll.
We are watching the night sky
together, watching the colors swirl,
the purples and blacks,
the stars speckled inside.A beautiful moment,
man and his best friend,
united in earthly love,
in awe of the universe.I imagine far out in the sky,
into space, deep into our galaxy,
another man and his friend,
alien life, connected via light.Our photos exchanged over
millions of years,
light years apart,
yet connected.
