"Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy."

Mercy is the willingness to compare the sufferings and miseries of others. It manifests itself in kindness, assistance to the needy, especially in forgiveness and reconciliation. It is more than a feeling of sympathy, it is a practice. In Christianity it is one of the main divine attributes. Mercy is also a feeling of pity or compassion for those who suffer, that drives them to help them or possibly; On certain occasions, it is what drives him to be benevolent in the trial or punishment. If we study the life of our Lord Jesus Christ we see that from the beginning of his ministry a quality that he always showed was mercy for people, helping him with his spiritual problems and all the affliction of the soul. But if we go further we see that our Creator Father is also the source of mercy since he sent his son to redeem and justify us, in addition to forgiving all our sins. Something that we do not deserve for our sins and our attitudes that take us away from our Father God.
Jesus’s sacrifice on our behalf was the greatest example of mercy. We can follow His example by extending mercy and compassion to others wherever we can. (Source)
All of us who follow the teachings of Jesus, we must be merciful to other people, we must help them with their burdens, problems and needs. To be merciful is to manifest compassion for the poor, the mourners and the oppressed. The merciful will "obtain mercy." "The generous soul will be prospered, and the one who satisfies, he will also be satisfied."
