Christmas is a very busy time, it’s very big commercially and all the wishlists for getting, buying and being in bustling places can make you into a real grinch if you're not careful!

Just this morning my son said “Why do we wait for December we should start this on the first of every month! What a great thought! So I'll let you know how we do in 2018 as well!

Dec 1st, was Friday I cleared my morning to be my moms chauffeur and run all the errands she needed, we ended up having a nice breakfast together too! “When you do good, you feel good” and I think we both did!

Saturday the 2nd we dropped gifts in a friends postbox, her hubby has been away for the last 6 weeks and I thought she and her girls needed a “pick-me-up”

How nice to get a sweet thank you message! Made us feel like we made a little bit of difference in the world!

3rd Dec, Sunday in our home means we head to church and three ladies were in our hearts. We wrote personal notes inside adult coloring books, wrapped them up and hand delivered! How sweet to hear my daughter say “I love Christmas, both getting presents and giving presents, and friends are the best kind of present!”

Monday 4th: we have the BEST Neighbours! So I look forward to sharing the meaning of the candy cane with them as we thank them for being so incredible and lighting up our lives with their kindness and care ALL year round! I believe we will have to spoil their dogs too! They are in the photo below! Best watchdogs ever, they are literally always on their toes!
