After a couple of hours light painting in various spots around the Byron Lighthouse recently, I was ready to head home but then I remembered this little ocean-view balcony just down the hill from the lighthouse so I took my gear down there and had a bit of a play.

Tool used here was a green acrylic tube with a purple plastic tip taped on the end. Torch used was a Nitecore P26. Check out my instagram for pix of the tool.

Really good! Very precise work as always.

Very impressive artwork:) I saw the tools of the trade, lol, at instagram. Next time it would be a good idea to include them at your posts, make people understand better the way these magnificent works of art are created:)

Sometimes I wonder "How do they get such a picture?" and I think it would be great for you to explain how his ending was. Your work is extraordinary...

What can you say! I'm amazed at this artistic work. I had to go to instagram to see the tools you used. I congratulate you for the work of the lights and shadows. A big hello @rod.evans.visual

Very cool. The slight asymmetry really gives it a more organic look, like some naturally occurring glyph.

Congratulations @rod.evans.visual, your post has been featured in the latest Curie Author Showcase.
On behalf of @curie I thank you for your time and for creating amazing content. Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,

Hi @rod.evans.visual I don't know anything about light painting. Your work for this project is awesome. First, I like the setting you chose. Perfect for the background with the green in the forefront illuminating the deck and rails. Pitted against the background of the sky makes for a delightful contrast.

Thanks for sharing your work.
