Leggings a way to attract guys💘
My loose thoughts on today's fashion, not only in sport.
In recent years, we have been experiencing a real revolution when it comes to sportswear. The other day, the main function of a sports outfit was functionality. Today, when practising sports has become a common area, the most important thing when shopping is the look. When selecting the outfit, a large proportion of people take appearance as the basic criterion, and functionality is one of the next features that we take into account. Sports outfits are often bought to show that you are trending. Since the end of 2010, the fashion of wearing sports clothes outside of the classroom is becoming more and more popular.
Leggings
As early as the 18th century, the term leggings referred to men's clothing, usually made of fabric or leather, which is wrapped around the leg down to the ankle. In the 19th century leggings usually referred to infants' leg clothing that were matched with a jacket, as well as leg-wrappings made of leather or wool and worn by soldiers and trappers
In the 1960s, leggings became popular in women's fashion as an inspiration from dancers' tailored clothing.
The widespread use of the synthetic fibre Lycra and the growing popularity of aerobics contributed to the next increase in the popularity of leggings. Initially, the clothing was mostly black or in dark colours and gray ...
... but from the beginning of 2010 more and more new colors appeared. For several years, the costumes are so colorful 🌈 that it makes the view even more attractive. Since 2010, leggings are part of the athleisure fashion trend, which consists in wearing sportswear outside sports activities in free conditions, which became a contentious social norm in the United States.
How do leggings work?
The outfit is tight, so it highlights all curves. At the same time, more and more aggressive colours attack our senses.
I am a runner, so I know how this outfit underlines the figure. As people, we have a natural tendency to notice, to strive for beautiful views, things, phenomena.
Today running in sports competitions is a feast for the eyes 👀, especially for people who do not dig the first places on the podium, so they have the opportunity to enjoy "views" on the route. This privilege applies to both women and men who also run in leggings. The number of representatives of both sexes is often similar, although there are more and more professions, where women are more! (ex USA competition in 2016) I am a runner, so I know how this outfit is underlining the figure. As people, we have a natural tendency to notice, to strive for beautiful views, things, phenomena.
Personally, I really like the current trend and I do not know how many women buy leggings to attract guys. I know from conversations with my friends that many women choose such fabulous clothes mainly because they like them!

That reminds me to buy a new pair of leggings. They are just so comfy - not just when you’re a runner but especially when your lifestyle is mainly sedentary. Casual leggings would differ from sports leggings. And they are so much better than tights!
