Great advice here!

I really need to kick start myself into developing some better habits. I'm not too bad TBH, I do have some good habits, but there's always room for improvement!

Getting off to a good start in the morning is crucial I agree, and ending the day with something peaceful and constructive is also important I believe!

It's also much easier to think about forming new habits now spring is just around the corner, new year when it's dark and miserable makes that a tough one.

The problem about getting into a better routine is that there's always tomorrow...

I'm glad you found it useful!

I was always more concentrated on morning routine rather than evening but what you said makes a lot of sense. The only thing I tried for the evening is 'no screen time' 30 minutes or 1 hour before bed. I might add something else and see how it goes, thanks for the idea. :)

I agree, when spring rolls around and everything comes to life, there is more sunshine, I guess we also get out of a winter rut. Me and my family have quite a big garden so when fresh veggies and fruits arrive, eating healthier is so much easier as well.

Thank you so much for reading this (long) post, I really appreciate it. Good luck with forming new habits! :)

Cheers, on the no screens thing, you may have heard of intermittent fasting where you limit your food intake to an 8 hour (or some limited time frame) window in the day, the same works well for screens!

Yes, I've heard of intermittent fasting, for the last month or so I've been doing 13 hours of fasting just to try it out but I might switch to 16:8 soon.

I never thought or heard of doing something like this for screen time as well but I love the idea - thanks for sharing this!

I find 14:10 works for me, 16:8 is a bit much, and putting breakfast back by a couple of hours wall a challenge.

Yes try the screen thing,

I call it 'intermittent descreening'

Although it does mean you can't binge on Steem as soon as you wake up!
