Open Heavens II

Open heavens is not a corporate experience. (Ezekiel 1:1 - Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God). The fact that we are under the same roof hearing the same things does not mean we will have the same experience. It is mainly about the readiness of your heart to learn and how willing you are to accept what heaven is releasing. Open heavens is mostly a personal encounter. In Genesis 26, there was famine in the land but there was an exemption for the children of God. No matter what is going on around, you can enjoy the exemption of God.

Not every believer truly sees. Most believers focus on physical things as opposed to the visions of God. When the heavens open over a life, that man will begin to see beyond the natural realm. You will begin to see the secrets of God (Ezekiel 1:3-The word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was there upon him). You will also hear instructions differently and then you will be empowered to do whatever you need to do (Philippians 2:13-For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure). God's energy empowers you to do His will.

You do things that shut the heaven over you when you sin (1 Kings 8:33-When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house). Disobedience can also shut up the heavens (Deuteronomy 28). The hand of God is strong and mighty but you can limit Him by your actions or inactions. When God gives you instructions and the heavens are opened upon you, you have to take action, do something, like Isaac did by sowing in the land (Genesis 26:12-13 - Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great). When the heavens open over you, you'll begin to operate with ease.

It is first spiritual before it is physical; when you are faced with a situation, first connect in the spirit. When you know what the spirit is saying, then you get results (Ezekiel 37:7 - So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone). He prophesied as he was commanded. Stop over-thinking or trying to reason out all of life's drama. Jesus is the way the truth and the life; your fellowship with Him is all you need to connect to God and to open your heavens. Anything that is able to break your connection with God will jeopardize your access to open heavens.
