Doing good is a choice, showing love is a must

Hello steemians,
I am hear again to tell you about what I did today to put a smile in someone's face. But today's episode has a twist in it as this time around a good deed was done to me and love was shown to me.
I had my birthday on the 5 day of January but I didn't celebrate it because of financial constraints so I allowed the day go like that.
But today a group of church that I belonged to, organised a little get together to honour me and got me this beautiful cake![IMG_20180114_180413.jpg]

Then I realised that the decision to show love was not only to elevate me but also to honor me. Also it was an opportunity for us to share the Gospel of steemit as we hosted Mr Sam @samstickkz and @pwillz who shared their testimony about their growth on steemit
I enjoyed every bit and every moment.
I am still collecting birthday gifts.
