My wife has been doing these types of books for a few years now. She's even used Wal-mart at times as they had an online service for creating them. There is a local photo lab that has a service and app as well that she has used. We've usually used them to highlight a vacation or special event, but doing a "year in review" type concept is really cool as well! Great idea!
Yes I have all my vacations done too. I also like to sometime do small booklets and print multiples and send them off to family and friends. They make great little personal gifts as well.
