One Silly Morning-part 1

The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon when she heard a soft knock on the door. She lifted her head just to have a clear view of the clock on the wall, to be able to tell what time it was.
The clock on the wall had it's longer hand on 9 and its shorter hand on 4. So she thought it a little bit odd that the waste-carrier man would knock so early on her door to collect waste.
So she stepped out of her bed, putting on her slippers and not fully awake, went close to the door....as she neared the handle she felt an unfamiliar presence that made her nerves to shiver, so she took a step backward. Afraid to go near and open the door, she called out, 'please who's there?'
She didn't get any reply. She waited, some seconds rolled by and she didn't hear a sound nor response from anyone. She concluded that it must have been an object that fell off somewhere or anything of less importance...so she decided to get back to sleep.

Going near the edge of her bed, she stretched her arms, tilted her head in both directions simultaneously, she sat on her bed and removed her slippers. As she was about pulling up her legs into the mattress, she heard a little cringe on her window. She thought maybe; it's her imagination so she buried her legs under her blanket.
Just as she was about resting her head on the pillows, yet again; she heard another knock on the door. This time, a little louder than the former...
