City nudists oldest in England..

Spielplatz in Hertfordshire village looks like a small quiet village, but there was something very different about life here. At first glance, this desolate little village looks like any other place in the middle of the London commuter belt. But grass and shrubs neatly hides many things. "There is no difference between naturists and the people who live on the streets," she insisted. "We all live normally but just lucky enough to stay at this incredible place. It's such a small country.

"We have all sorts of delivery. Milkman came and drove, and we had a newsboy although that has now stopped.

"The postman and trader knows us, and brought us once they found us. They never seem bothered.

"Sometimes they have to walk all the way up to the middle of our territory, if they are carrying something heavy like a stove."

It was founded by Charles Macaskie Iseult's father, who bought the 12-acre area for £ 500 in 1929.

This region is in Bricket Wood, a few miles outside St Albans, and a permanent residence for about 34 owners of small bungalows. There is another 24 houses are available for rent for the summer visitors.

As citizens Tina Yates, 64, said: "This is just a small community where everyone knows everyone else."

"When you swim, you are not allowed to wear clothes and I had to swim. I have no problem with it. People go there to escape from the real world. And undressing is a major breakout.
