Lifes a gift what will you do with it?

We only get one shot at this life thing and with so many different ways to go and choices to chose how do you know what exactly it is that you want out of life? Well, we can start by asking ourselves what is it that we want the most? What holds the most value to us? but even then that question can get a little complicated because lets face it as humans we are just complicated! But as a 22 year old Im starting to ask myself these questions because I see my self getting older and I just cant seem to figure out what I want to do with my life. Ive already had the multimillionaire fantasy where I study stocks or sell real estate and make lots of money but then I thought to my self when its all said and done then what? You see i learned at a very young age that if money and living that rock star lifestyle was the answer then why are there so many multimillionaires who are miserable? Think about it they have all the money the fame the men/woman why isnt that enough and then it dawned on me that creating a life where all roads lead back to you  will never fulfill you!

In addition I learned that profitability comes tied to purpose until you find purpose you will never be profitable! Besides that I stated thinking and i realized that the world is a big place with of millions people to impact and that led to me thinking about what  I could see myself doing what would give me purpose and drive? And it hit me I decided that studying medicine would be the best fit for me. For one if I dont find purpose in something like  if it doesnt absolutely consume me and my interest and grasp my attention Ill get bored and most likely not finish but what greater responsibility to keep you on top of your game at all times then knowing you have somebodys son, daughter, mother, fahter, sister, brother in your hands! And its not about the money while the 6 figure income is a plus its about the purpose I wanna leave an impact in this world even though as a doctor its like you wake up everyday to fight a battle that ultimately you know your going to lose because death is inevitable but you get to impact the quality of the expeirence of people journeys here on earth and I cant think of anything more respectable and honorable thing to do with my life. Ill be signing up to school today to start taking the first steps into a very stressful but beyond rewarding career!
