'We're screwed': The only question is how quickly Louisiana wetlands will vanish, study says

Because of increasing rates of sea level rise fueled by global warming, the remaining 5,800 square miles of Louisiana's coastal wetlands in the Mississippi River delta will disappear. The only question is how quickly it will happen, says a new peer-reviewed study published Friday in Science Advances.

Interesting article about sea level rise and how it relates to the Louisiana coast. I don't put a lot of faith that these type of predictions are going to be correct, but it's interesting to read what others are saying. The bad thing about these type of predictions is that it discourages people from wanting to try to save the coast. I hope coastal restoration keeps moving forward though.

Global Warming or Pole Shift?

In my opinion, neither, it's the stupidity of man leveeing off the Mississippi River that used to deposit sediment which built land over time. Fresh water diversions up and down the river would go a long way to reversing the damage, but you know how things go.....

You can run on for a long time for a long time, but sooner or later Yahweh cut you down. I look forward to seeing something about Nibiru when you write it.
