How do you live up to someone's expectations?

When you look at yourself, do you ever doubt whether or not you live up to your own expectations? You have, without a doubt, made efforts to hire staff and engage contractors in the vain hope that they will be able to live up to your expectations. However, what about young children? Are you putting them under pressure to meet your expectations while you yourself continue to fall short of those goals?

If that is the case, you might want to take a moment to gather your thoughts and determine whether or not you should have very high expectations for them. It is essential that you recognize that, in spite of the fact that they occasionally make mistakes, kids will eventually develop into well-behaved and self-assured individuals provided that you do not impose constraints on them. The most important thing to understand about other people is that they will almost always fail to live up to your expectations. Should you choose not to, you will be squandering your time. Pursue whatever it is that makes you happy. Your disposition is going to get better. You too will experience joy. If you put in the effort to live up to your own expectations, you will be successful. What if, on the other hand, you don't?

In all honesty, you can't expect everyone to live up to your expectations, but you can give it your best go.
