How to cope with childhood hysterics
Baby tantrums. Causes
Children's hysteria is a strong emotional surge caused by negative emotions (annoyance, resentment, anger). As a rule, accompanied by: crying, screaming, stamping, bouncing and even falling. Childish whims - this is a powerful tool for manipulating others. Most often, children's hysterics occur in children aged 3-4 years, but many children continue to resort to them for many years, even in adulthood!
The main causes of hysterics in children
Reason 1. The illogicality of adult bans acts destructively on the child's psyche. A striking example of this: yesterday you could go to bed late, but today you can not; yesterday it was possible to take Dad's watch, but today it's gone; Yesterday all the cartoons were available, and today - it's harmful to watch. And, of course, the child reacts to new conditions with whims and hysteria.
Cause 2. Another reason for the protests is the lack of parental attention, love and care. Psychologists on this account have even a special term - "unclaimed child".
Cause 3. Hysteria arise and because of some "impossible" and "no" from us, adults. Moreover, parents in many families do not even try to explain to the child why all the same: "it is impossible" and "no".
Cause 4. Due to overwork. The child was tired on the road, from active games and just did not get enough sleep.
Reason 5. Moods may be associated with family conflicts. Do not scandal at the baby themselves. Not a scandal at all. Learn to self-control.
