The possibility of change for the better
For years, the culture, religion and traditions kept people from trying to “hack” the society. Today they stop working, and formalization appears. The rivalry and competition cause people to dedicate their works and their lives to a single goal. We become simple functions of what we do, eventually becoming a simple function of adaptation.
“Hackers” tend to maximise personal benefit and to ruin the pie for everyone. Why? Because each time when people encounter a set of rules, we face two scenarios.
In the first case, the rules are supported by automatics and sets of other rules. In this case, people try to “hack” the script, maximizing personal gain. A fine example would be a great idea of Steemit turning into self-ups and mutual apps and also people buying whale uplifts.
In the second case, people sustain respect for intangible concepts and fear the divine retribution. For years, it was this fear that kept many from “hacking the society”. Hacking is similar to the heat death - the effort expended is minimized, and the individual benefit reaches its maximum (while the general “Pie” dies slowly).
How can the world change for the better despite this “heat death” trend? I suppose the answer lies in the search for “poetic” solutions based on new technologies - while the newly emerging fractals remain free from the toxic care of outdated, but still evil, adherents of the Pyramid. By poetry, I understand better versions of the world than those offered by the Pyramid. Better and simple, similar to e=mc^2.
The Pyramid itself contributes to its destruction by feeding the world with rotten meat of obsolete concepts. Anyone who will offer the world fresh food and "sinless" concepts, like the Bitcoin, will open the gates to the future.
Any resistance needs its headquarters - otherwise the spies will turn into the crazed elements of the system itself. Such a headquarters could appear in virtuality, but it would have to rely on moral and ethical provisions that are understandable to anyone. Simple and easy, which we remember from childhood and which do not need to be taught or explained.
The headquarters wouldn’t be able to exist on a single platform - a bleeding Leviathan flies after platforms and concepts and devours them one by one, distorting and spoiling great ideas. But we can shift platforms, following the emergence of various windows of opportunity, and sticking to the “Be Prepared” motto. Hopefully over time this new reality will simply squeeze out the Pyramid - step by step and without any bloodshed. It would be so great to see the moment when the good will cease to act from the positions of the partisans...
