Even Dark Clouds Have Place with Seas
Have you ever thought how life would be so different
If dark clouds didn't exist?
No rain you have no umbrella for,
No sudden wound on your wrist.
No sickness to miss school,
No bully to take away your lunch,
No memory to crouch in fear,
No nightmare in the darkness to punch.
No "sorry" and "forgiveness" in our dictionary,
Because we don't need them anyway.
No "trying again" or "trying harder"
Because we fulfill everything we say.
No spilled milk to cry for,
No repentance to happen,
Maybe no change to change for,
And no tomorrow to fear for from men.
But the world wasn't made perfect
For you and I to grow
To see the responsibility of our actions
And learn from life more than what we know.
I think it makes us more human and not simply as robots
To learn and understand from the heart and mind that sees
That life is best with shadows, storms, and sadness,
For even dark clouds have place with seas.
