It's allowed to use pictures from free sources with a link to the source, text should be original or with a link to the content site. There is a bot here, called @cheetah , it search for copy&paste text on Steemit, he can flag your post what can cost you reputation. @steemcleaners https://steemcleaners.org/abuse-report/ is a group of steemians who created a website where the users can report spam, plagiarism and other abuse.
A much better way is to make a post with your own words and pictures, that's also what creates the value of Steemit and it helps yourself much more to find serious followers who like your content and will upvote you.
