An Eagle Approach. Part 2

Welcome back to this wonderful segment where we shall continue with the above topic. By the end of this section, some important questions will be asked for us to know our commitment level towards the realization of our goals.

We shall again be exploring the final part in the qualities of an eagle and how it relates to individuals. Like I mentioned earlier, an approach is very important in the decisions we make in life.  Let's go further in explaining some of the qualities.

Point 1

An eagle has a good Vision;

When you see an eagle resting on a tree, you will see how observant it is. when you pay attention closely, you will know that an eagle sees the happenings around it. If it flies close, you will notice how determined the eyes are in searching for it's target. What does this imply? and how does it affect us? It is important to develop a good vision in all aspects of life. Good vision is one of the qualities of a leader. It enhances maximum and profitable approach which leads to great accomplishment.

Good vision is one of the qualities of a leader like I mentioned earlier. Taking Abraham Lincoln as a case study, he led United states during the most frustrating experience in history which was the Civil War. His vision was to preserve unity and set the captives free thereby making them independent. Abraham Lincoln is regarded to have been the outstanding president of America. He was able to achieve this because he had a good vision.

At this point, I will like to say;

"If an aspiration of greatness and leadership is in view, good vision should be a priority". @yvo

We shall consider two factors that boost a good vision;

• Determination
• Observation

Determination; When an individual has a leadership ambition, determination is very vital. When an individual get engrossed in a set out goal, without doubt success is attained. If the purpose of a target is not specified, there will be no result.

Observation; An eagle has this important quality that is what differentiates it from other birds. For one to be distinguished, it is imperative to be observant. You pay full attention to things around, people around and your set out goal. This factor of observation is very essential in order to be an outstanding front runner. Observation shouldn't be a subject of negotiation but a subject of necessity.

Point 2

An eagle is brave.

An eagle in this context never gives up until it's prey is defeated. Leaders are not afraid or scared of problems, they attend to them bravely. By being brave, one can withstand oppositions. When an individual is courageous, he can endure unfavorable conditions without fear. Being brave is the ability to take risk. it is therefore important to note here that a brave heart is willing to take responsibilities.

Like I mentioned earlier, we shall take out some moments to answer these questions relating to us;

• If leadership is our target, are we ready to take risks in order to attain it?
• Good vision is a keen aspect of a leader, are we prepared to accept challenges?
• If determination is our objective, what efforts can we put in to realize our set out goals?

If "YES" is our answer, we have made a good choice. Hardwork will make it a reality.

I will conclude by stating this;

All birds find shelter during a rain, But the eagles avoids rain by flying above the clouds. Problems are common but attitude makes the difference. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam
