"John 15:5 - I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
Without the vine, how can the branch live?
This is our life today. Without the Lord, surely we will be dead at this very moment. For it is said that "for without Me you can do nothing." You are good as dead if you can't do anything.
But the Lord is asking us to do only one thing, that is to abide in Him.
When we receive the Lord in our spirit, we have life. Not only do we have life, we will bear much fruit! This is the infilling of His Spirit unto us, we become saturated with Him, making us His living testimony here on earth. This bearing of much fruit comes from our enjoyment of Him, as we enjoy the the Lord, we can share this oveflowing happiness we have to other people. Oh what a wonderful privilege to dispense God unto others! Praise the Lord!
